Facial fat grafting – What to look for
Facial fat grafting before and after photos should demonstrate dramatic improvements. This is because the advantage of fat grafting is that the filler material being the fat is plentiful. Although it requires surgical harvesting of fat with liposuction techniques it allows for larger volumes of fat harvest. This means that all areas of facial volume loss can and should be treated in a single session. As such, it is not unusual to fat graft volumes of 30 to 50cc in a single session. What this means for you is that all areas in need of volume replacement should be treated and visible in the after photographs. These include the lips, the jowls and jawline, the nasolabial folds, the nasojugal groove, the temples, the lateral cheeks, the infra-brow, and even the nasal dorsum.
