Fat Transfer for BBL

Fat Transfer for BBL

Fat transfer for BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) also called fat grafting, for body shaping has become popular in the U.S. and other countries.

The larger, shapelier buttocks originated in Brazil, where the standard of beauty embraces the fuller female bottom. The U.S., by contrast, was focused on breast enlargement. Today, fat transfer for BBL is one of the fastest-growing cosmetic surgeries, especially among the Millenials. This is partly due to the focus that celebrities like Kim Kardashian have brought to the public eye.

These body-sculpting procedures start with precisely controlled liposuction on problem regions like the belly, inner and outer upper legs, upper abdomen, and back. A BBL with fat transfer requires more fat, as a rule than other areas as it takes a relatively large amount of fat to make a noticeable difference.

Healthy fat must be preserved to give the surgeon the necessary amount to create a sculpted result. The method of liposuction used in this process affects how much fat is available for harvesting without damaging the cells. For example, with Laser lipo, the heat can damage fat, lessening the amount of fat suitable for transplant. With VASER ultrasound liposuction, the maximum amount of viable fat can be harvested as this method is far more gentle and does minimal damage to fat cells and surrounding tissues.

After the fat has been purified, it is injected into the areas where you want to see more volume, projection, or a curvier shape.

Transferred fat is softly molded during a body-sculpting procedure to generate smooth, rounded curves and a new feminine form. It’s the all-natural way to a curvier, shapelier you! It can bulk up the pectoralis area and create an athletic BBL for men.

Benefits of Fat Transfer Body Sculpting

Since fat grafting uses your own fat, you have no risk of rejection or allergic reaction, and the results look natural, providing the proportions are optimal.

When fat grafting is used to enhance the shape and size of the buttocks, a Brazilian Butt Lift produces instant, long-lasting results. The hourglass curves are stunning when done with other body sculpting, like waistline snatching or rounding out hip dips.

Weight loss and exercise alone may not always be enough to get our desired figure or physique. Patients receive multiple benefits from fat-transfer treatments, which dramatically improve the form and proportion of their bodies in the hands of a talented and artistic surgeon. Enhancing attractiveness is a big self-esteem booster.

Am I a Candidate For Fat Transfer for BBL

Women and men of various ages choose to undertake fat transfer for a Brazilian Butt Lift. The best candidates are patients who have stabilized their weight but have areas of fat to harvest and are looking for volume in specific areas like their buttocks or even breasts and face.

You may be an excellent prospect for fat transfer if:

  • Are realistic about the results you can achieve with cosmetic surgery
  • In good overall health
  • Are a non-smoker or are quitting (for 90 days before surgery)

What Else Should I Know About Fat Transfer for BBL?

Liposuction surgery for fat transfer uses tiny incisions, about a quarter-inch. When they heal, they are all but invisible. Incision placement is discussed with you at your pre-op with your surgeon but ask at your initial consultation if it is a concern.

The liposuction method determines the amount of healthy fat harvested. Technologies that use heat, like laser lipo, or considerable force, like traditional lipo, damage fat, limiting the amount of healthy fat to harvest. Damaged fat that is transplanted will be absorbed in more significant amounts than healthy fat as it does not establish a new blood supply.

VASER ultrasound-assisted liposuction is by far the gold standard for liposuction and fat harvesting for several reasons:

  • It uses gentle ultrasound shaking to remove fat, thereby removing the most significant amount of healthy fat possible for transfer.
  • It is easier to recover. Since the underlying connective tissues and capillaries are not as disrupted as other methods, the bruising and pain are minimal.
  • Surgeons can remove more fat from the body with VASER than any other type of liposuction.
  • It is the only method of liposuction that is used to remove fat from both the deep and subcutaneous layers of fat. This allows for a muscle etching effect.
  • Extensive fat grafting is done as an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia.
  • Up to 90 percent of the fat that has been transferred survives (with VASER lipo), providing the surgeon transplants the fat within 30 minutes.

Recovery

You should expect swelling, minor discoloration, and mild discomfort following your procedure (depending on the type of liposuction used)

The length of recovery varies from 5 to 14 days, depending on the number and size of treatment sites. You will be able to resume regular, modest exercise usually within a week.

Although the consequences may be long-lasting, weight loss/gain, pregnancy, normal aging, and gravity can all impact your results.

After you’ve been released from the surgical center, you’ll need to be accompanied by a responsible adult for the next 24 hours. All surgical treatments include risks, which are thoroughly reviewed prior to surgery.
